TIMETRACKERS

Created by Sylvia Beamon and myself in 2007, the Royston Time Trackers is a small group aimed at young people between 8 and 16 years of age who have a general interest in all things from the past.  The group meets on a monthly basis at the Royston & District Museum and explores history, archaeology, geography and geology through a mixture of educational discussions and hands-on sessions. Individuals are encouraged to bring in their own finds and collections and show them to the group.

The group regularly have field trips and have been to: Barley Celtic Harmony Camp Royston Cave Therfield Heath Wandlebury Hill Fort West Stow Sylvia & me at West Stow

A group of Royston Time Trackers meet Carenza Lewis from the Time Team in 2009 at Bassingbourn Village College (Cambs) On 6th May 2010, members of the Royston Roundtable visited the Royston & District Museum and presentated the Time Trackers with a donation.
