About

Funnily enough people made things from bronze in the Bronze Age (as well as other materials). Clearly there's more to the process, and James explores some of the methods used to make axes, swords and other objects. Sadly we cannot talk to Bronze Age metalworkers about their methods and trade secrets, fortunately you can watch a talk by someone who is pretty experienced in many of the bronze casting methods. An exploration of the current archaeological evidence will be supported by experimental evidence and footage to really show how casting was done in the Bronze Age!
