  • The Venus of Willendorf is a statuette of a female figure, estimated to be around 30,000 years old, discovered in 1908 near Willendorf, Austria. Carved from limestone, it features exaggerated breasts, belly, and hips, and a faceless head adorned with a patterned cap. Originally covered in red ochre, it is one of the most famous examples of a Venus figurine from the Paleolithic period, though its exact purpose remains unknown, with interpretations ranging from a symbol of fertility to a teaching tool.

This pendant is made from silver or gold-plated pewter strung on a leather cord with a bronze or silver clasp to match.

    Necklace size: 24mm x 9.7 mm
